Winter Storage usually begins in Mid-October and the units are released on April 30th

FAQ

  • We accept all forms of motor vehicles including cars, motorhomes, jet skis (on trailers), motorcyles, boats, pontoons, etc.
  • All vehicles must be in running order.
  • Once the unit has been stored, there is NO ACCESS to the unit.
  • The Norman County Ag Society DOES NOT have property insurance covering the stored unit. It is the responsibility of the owner to protect his property with sufficient property damage insurance to cover any loss for any reason while the stored unit is on the fairgrounds.
  • Remove all propane tanks and/or gas cans.

Winter Storage Application


The Norman County Ag Society will start accepting Winter Storage Units in October. Check back for the exact date. Please bring your unit to the fairgrounds on this date. To speed up the process of registering your unit, please complete and submit this form. You may print it out and bring with you, or you may submit it online and we contact you to confirm a space.

All items will be placed in storage the first weekend in November

Release of vehicles will be the first full week of April or when the weather cooperates. An email notification will be sent to those with stored unit.


Price: $10.00 per running foot. Please place an estimate in the space provided. Your stored unit will be measured by an authorized representative of the Norman County Ag Society.

Any stored unit accessed or removed earlier than the date and time designated shall be subject to an additional "early removal fee" equal to $50.00 per hour from start of access to building to the time the building is re-secured. A minimum of one hour will be charged.

Batteries must be disconnected but not removed from any vehicle. BATTERY MUST STAY WITH UNITS THAT REQUIRE THEM!

Propane tanks/portable gas tanks must be removed from all units prior to storage.

The Norman County Ag Society shall send a notice of removal of the stored unit at the address or email address above set forth on or about March 15 reminding owner of obligation to remove the stored unit. Any stored unit which is not removed from the Norman County Fairgrounds within one business week of release will be required to pay an additional storage charge of $30.00 per day unless prior arrangements have been made with Norman County Ag Society.

WINTER STORAGE LICENSE AGREEMENT - (MUST READ)


For such storage space, SPACE LESSEE SHALL PAY TO NCAS the sum of $______(Stored unit’s length of ______ feet was multiplied by $10.00 per running foot to arrive at designated season rental fee.) Any stored unit accessed or removed earlier than the date and time designated shall be subject to an additional “early removal fee” equal to $50.00 per hour from start of access to building to the time the building is re-secured. A minimum of one hour will be charged.

By agreeing to sign the Space Rental License Agreement, I understand all terms listed of this agreement.

SPACE LESSEE’s stored unit will be removed from the designated building and parked outside available for removal from the Norman County Ag Society (weather permitting) the first week of April. The NCAS shall send a notice of removal of the stored unit to SPACE LESSEE at the address or email address above set forth on or about March 15 reminding SPACE LESSEE of obligation to remove the stored unit. Any stored unit which is not removed from the Norman County Fairgrounds within one business week of release will be required to pay an additional storage charge of $30.00 per day unless prior arrangements have been made with NCAS.


  • In the event that the stored unit above described is lost or damaged through theft, fire, or act of God, NCAS shall not be liable to SPACE LESSEE for such loss or damage except in the event that such theft or fire results from the negligence of NCAS, its agents or employees.
  • SPACE LESSEE is specifically informed that NCAS DOES NOT have property damage insurance covering said stored unit and that SPACE LESSEE should protect his property with sufficient property damage insurance to cover any loss suffered by SPACE LESSEE for any reason while the stored unit is on the Norman County Fairgrounds.
  • SPACE LESSEE must leave one (1) set of keys for all stored motor vehicles with NCAS, SPACE LESSEE does hereby specifically authorize NCAS volunteers to operate the stored unit when necessary.
